Nourishing Recipes for Body & Soul

Time is flying, isn't it?
It is Fall, time to nourish, stew, let go and hunker down. In this month's newsletter I share recipes and goings on from RELEASE 2025 to nourish your Spleen Qi and your Lungs and Large Intestine organs and systems.
and if you read all the way down, I have a questions for ya!
Food for thought...
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), spleen qi is the vital energy that governs the spleen's functions of transforming food into nutrients and transporting them throughout the body. Its key roles include converting digested food into usable nutrients and Qi (energy) and blood, and distributing them to nourish the rest of the body. Spleen qi also has an upward, ascending function that prevents organs from prolapsing and helps with the proper processing of fluids, directing excess water to the lungs for expulsion.
What we take in includes food and thought. Some food is unnutritious, and some thoughts can be down right toxic.
Twice a year I do a food reset with clients and community. Folks are invited along (which ensures I actually do it) and together we propel my vision of liberation from the claws of greed, using responsibility, knowledge, connection and sovereignty as the foundation.
It is a core revolutionary act to attend to the food we eat, the thoughts we take in and the connections to life that arrive beneath our noses with every meal, snack or lick of your pal's ice cream.
We need effective and responsible health care practitioners, clinics, doctors, nurses, staff, offices, hospitals and ministries.
We also need effective, responsible and informed humans. Be we patients or clients, we require knowledge and the right conditions to learn about preventative medicine and treatment for dis-ease.
Imagine the world if we learned how to take care of our bodies in grade school?!
I educate, and curate containers for experience (treatments and groups), so you understand more about how your vessel works; body, mind, Qi flow and soul.

What we take in, forms us. If we want justice for all, we can access more of that by ensuring justice for our Stomach, Spleen, Liver, Intestines and so on.
